The International Symposium on the Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect 2028 will take place from September 10th to 15th 2028 in Krakow and Bukowina Tatrzanska, Poland.
Since its inception in Parma in 1988 organized by Prof. Massimo Carbucicchio, ISIAME (International Symposium on the Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect) has been held every four years. The thirteen thematic areas of ISIAME 2028 encompass a broad range of current and emerging industrial applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy.
The symposium is expected to create new opportunities for collaboration between researchers and industry partners, while also inspiring and encouraging younger researchers to incorporate Mössbauer spectroscopy into their scientific work.

ISIAME 2028 will take place in Krakow and Bukowina Tatrzanska, in the Polish Tatra Mountains region of southern Poland.
The Tatra Mountains
The Tatras are the highest mountain range in Poland and the only alpine landscape in the country. The region offers sharp granite ridges, post-glacial lakes, forested valleys, geothermal waters, and the distinctive wooden architecture and highlander traditions of Podhale.
Podhale Culture
Bukowina Tatrzanska is part of a region known for highlander music, local cuisine, wooden architecture, and a strong mountain identity.
After the Sessions
The area is well suited for short walks, panoramic excursions, and evening relaxation in the mountain surroundings after the scientific programme.

The main conference venue is GRAND STASINDA Center for Recreation and Business in Bukowina Tatrzanska.
Located approximately 100 km south of Krakow, the venue combines conference facilities with the mountain landscape, regional culture, and quiet atmosphere of Podhale.
